I am generally a fan of these chewy Swedish candies, but this variety was not my favorite. This bag comes with a few varieties including ribbons and flowers. The ribbons are thin and fruity, and have a dense chew. Some of the other candies, such as the flowers, have more of a springy or bouncy chew. There are some others that are softly chewy as well. Most of the candies seem to be of the spongy variety, which is similar to a particularly chewy marshmallow. While this is not the texture that I prefer, it did grow on me. These are not the sour kinds that I have previously tried and like, but are mainly sweet. After eating several of the candies, I preferred these over the other types in this mix. I appreciate the natural ingredients and whimsical shapes and colors. There are enough candies in the bag to share with a couple of other people, but probably not enough to have for a party or larger gathering. The price is slightly high for the quantity provided. The Expiration on the bag I received is 3/30/2026.
This is a tasty selection of Swedish candy. It comes in a resealable bag.The candies offer a variety of flavors and especially textures, ranging from the familiar chewy gummy rainbow strips to the lighter, “foamy” texture of the mushroom-shaped candies.Each candy is fresh and delicious, and there are a variety of different fruity flavors. They are slightly less sweet than typical American candies. Very addictive!
